Castle Frenzy

Tower defense games are really not hard to find in the appstore or even online. The games are a dime a dozen and I must say there really aren't many that catch my attention. Gameloft, the iPhone game distributor known for their knack for creating addicting games has released their idea of what a touch tower defense game should be. Castle Frenzy is a game that blends a 3D environment, touch gameplay and upgradeable tower defense to bring a ridiculously fun experience to your device. The game is set in the fantasy era of goblins, dragons and sorcerers.

This is nothing new to the tower defense genre but the level of interaction between the different enemies and elements around the castle makes for a completely new experience. Instead of just destroying a sorcerer, why not let him through his energy balls at the castle where you can catch them and throw them back into the crowd of goblins attacking.

The game brings addicting gameplay that can be both easy and simple or ridiculously challenging depending on how much you want to sweat it out. I recommend checking it out. It is yet another example of how unique and entertaining a game on the iPhone can be. It is definitely worth the price being asked and with so many upgradeable elements the game could keep you busy for a while.
